Several different teams and committees have been very busy this summer actively planning and preparing for the start of the 2020 – 2021 school year. At this point in time, there are several different start-up scenarios that are possible at Christ the King depending on health department and state restrictions and mandates and I spoke about these different scenarios in my latest video released on June 15

The button below is a document that provides greater detail on each of the start-up scenarios possible at Christ the King in August. We have planned for each of these scenarios and are ready to implement each of them as necessary once the health department and the state announce restrictions related to starting school. The most likely start-up scenario right now is the 20 person in a class/100% building capacity scenario and this would be very close to a regular start for us due to our normal smaller class sizes. It even appears likely that class sizes greater than 20 will be permitted for schools and that’s even better! Things could certainly change though between now and August so I think it’s important to be ready for any possibility.
Start Up Scenarios
The button below here is a brief survey asking for your preference related to the 50% building capacity scenario (if we ever had to implement something like this), your needs related to loaner iPads during potential remote learning periods, and your availability to volunteer in the school to help supervise possible smaller groups of students during lunch and recess periods. Your input is very valuable to us…thanks in advance for completing our survey.

As always, thanks so much for all your support. Although this upcoming school year may be a bit unique, I’m very confident that it’ll be a very successful school year. Having faith and working together as a united and supportive Catholic school community will certainly make it happen!!!
